“ Reef were an English rock band from Butleigh, near Glastonbury. The band members include Gary Stringer on vocals, Kenwyn House on guitar, Jack Bessant on bass and Dominic Greensmith on drums. Their album, Glow, is ranked at number 26 in Kerrang!’s “100 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die ” list.

Glow is the second album by rock band Reef released in 1997.

“ With their second album Glow, Reef refused to change direction at all, even hiring Black Crowes producer George Drakoulias to work on the record. While Glow is essentially the same batch of Stones/Faces riffs and hoarse, soulful singing, it is more focused and better than its predecessor, and while it isn’t particularly original, it is inspired. A handful of songs, particularly singles like “Place Your Hands” and “Consideration,” are terrific, even if they are a bit too “classic” for their own good.
